Angelo brings his artist talents, ready for anything attitude and sense of adventure to afterschool everyday.

RYAN

K-1 and 4-5 Grade Teacher

Ryan has been bringing his fun energy to us since early 2019! After graduating from MassArt with a painting degree, he lived on a small sailboat while teaching art in South Carolina for a year and a half. Since then he has worked for various youth-centered organizations in Vermont. When he is not making art or teaching Ryan loves to run, hike, go on adventures and eat out with friends.

MARCIE LUSSIER

2-3 Grade Teacher

Marcie is a para professional at Smith and has been working at Burlington Kids Afterschool for a number of years. Marcie loves to have fun and really enjoys helping people

SHERRY

K-1 and 4-5 Grade Teacher

Sherry lives in the North End of Burlington. She has three sons and two cats. When Sherry is not working as a librarian para educator at both CP Smith and The Sustainability Academy, She enjoys spending time with her friends at the farmer’s market and local festivals.

JOE

2-3 Grade Teacher

Joe has been working at CP Smith Elementary for 10 years. He previously worked at Barnes Elementary for 2 years and before that at a private school in East Fairfield, VT. He has lived in Vermont for over 20 years, playing music and giving music demonstrations at public and private schools around the state. He loves working with young people and providing experiences for their inquisitive minds to absorb.
